Interview with I.C Pelicans of "Twat;Basket"

Me
Describe the album using onomatopoeia
I.C
pssscchhhhWOOP
Altho I thnk tht the sngs transcend sound
Me
Ah, I see.
So is it more of a colour?
or a color?
I.C
I think it's difficult to pin down the sounds. Imagine the painter, whose blank canvas stares back at her/him/hrim in its total void.
and the painter
throwing back colours, in frustration
that's somewhere near the sound
but I don't think it's easy to identify a feeling when listening to TWAT;BASKET, or a landscape
Me
I see, the other dimensional sounds
I.C
Yeah
Totally that. Although, it might not be.

Me
How would you describe your recording style, do you go into the studio knowing what you want to do, or is it a more organic (or perhaps cosmic) experience?
I.C
I think it's more that the studio needs to be ready for me.
I mean, I'll get ideas in my head, and a basic structure
but sometimes, I mean
man
I can't even describe it, it's like kinetic energy flying all over the recording space and it feeds into the finished recordings
Me
Is that not quite a dangerous process then?
I.C
I think you can hear how it comes together
it can be dangerous
but what good art isn't dangerous?
I.C
I think you can hear how it comes together
it can be dangerous
but what good art isn't dangerous?
that's my question... to you
Me
Slayer
So I hear that on the road you live a very debauched lifestyle?
Any stories?
I.C
Well
One time I drank a whole bottle of tonic water
Me
Jesus.
I.Cbut I think the tour stories transcend the realms of belief
Me
Were there many toilets?
yes
Me
And what of the power rangers rumours in the Sun and the Daily Mail recently?
Some preeeeeeeetty serious allegations there
I.C
I don't understand.
Me
The whole rumour about you being in the cubicle, with the green ranger, and five 7 year olds taking cocaine
